Healing Arts Massage Therapy

Healing Arts Massage Therapy has been in the Old Strathcona area since 1989.  Over the years, they have developed a reputation for dedicated, professional service in health care for Edmonton.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy can best be described as systematic manipulation of the soft tissues for symptom reduction and performance/health enhancement.

At it's most fundamental, Massage reduces stress levels which  has been shown to reduce the chances of illness and, surprisingly, injury.  More importantly, regular massage therapy can improve athletic performance and enhance well-being.

There are many specialties within massage therapy, including Active Release Techniques, Craniosacral, Thai, Reflexology, and Acupressure.  Our therapists each have their own specialty, which is outlined on each therapist's page.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a safe, drug-free approach to healthcare that can be considered either as an alternative approach, or as a complementary therapy that will enhance an existing regime.  The acupuncturist enhances health for the client by balancing the energy flow within the body.  Our acupuncturists have additional training to further increase well being.  Please see their individual pages to learn more.
